Reporting to:
Managing Director
Purpose of Position
To plan implement, support and manage all transmissions networks- Multi vendor OTN, DWDM, SDH and Metro Networks.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience of which two (2 ) must have been within an ICT/ Telecommunications environment. The candidate should have worked in IP networks and have basic hands on experience with service provisioning and assurance.
Knowledge
Working knowledge and understanding of transport capacity planning and design principles and practices, network infrastructure resources, traffic engineering, testing and verification activities. The ideal candidate should be familiar with transmission networks such as SDH, DWDM (OCH, Transponders, Muxponders, Power budgeting, Amplifiers, ROADM) and their Network Management Systems.
